Introducing Julie Gladsjo, M.D., PhD.

North Coast Dermatology Medical Associates proudly welcomes Dr. Julie Gladsjo, M.D., Ph.D. to our practice.  Dr. Gladsjo earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California, Irvine.  Initially focused on research, she completed a Ph.D. at Auburn University, before deciding that she was more suited to hands-on patient care. 

She studied Medicine at the University of California, San Diego where she graduated among the top of her class, earning honors in multiple subjects.  She completed a medical internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital, and then went on to complete her Dermatology residency at UC San Diego, where she served as Chief Resident. 

After completing her residency and attaining Board certification, she pursued advanced fellowship training in Dermatologic Mohs Micrographic Surgery at UC San Diego.

Dr. Gladsjo will be available on Monday’s, Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s at our Encinitas office located at 477 N. El Camino Real, Suite C312.  She will also be available for Mohs surgery at our Encinitas and La Jolla offices.

North Coast Dermatology Medical Associates specializes in the treatment of medical and surgical problems of a cosmetic nature, in addition to caring for our patients' routine dermatologic needs. Our doctors have spent most of their professional careers treating and operating on the skin, and have developed expertise in many cosmetic and anti-aging or rejuvenation procedures.
