Three Encinitas Doctors Nominated for San Diego “Best Of” Award

Encinitas, Calif. – June 14, 2010 – For fourteen years running, The Union-Tribune, in collaboration with its sister website SignOnSanDiego.com, has conducted a San Diego’s Best reader poll.  This year, three Encinitas doctors from North Coast Health Center were nominated in the Healthy Living category, including:

• Audiology: Jerry Saline, Ph.D. and Cris Richards, M.A, Hearing & Neurodiagnostic Center
• Cosmetic Surgeon:  Ali Lashgari, M.D., Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery
• Laser Eye Center:  Jeff Morris, M.D., Morris Eye Group

Voting takes place from June 5 through 27.  Residents can vote once per 24 per category.  Winners will be announced in August in the Union-Tribune and on SignOnSanDiego.com.

The recent “Best Of” nominations come on the heals of several other local awards for the doctors and dentists of North Coast Health Center.  Earlier this February, two groups were selected for Ranch & Coast Magazine’s Best Of 2010 – Health & Beauty, including: J. Patrick Davis, DDS, MS of Dental Specialty Associates for Best Pediatric Dentist and Orthodontist.  Also selected was El Camino Pediatrics for Best Pediatrician.


In 2009, nearly twenty Encinitas doctors and dentists were chosen from North Coast Health Center for San Diego Magazine’s “Top Doctor” and “Top Dentist” awards.  Winning medical specialties included allergy and asthma, dermatology, family medicine, orthodonture, pediatrics, pediatric dentistry, and radiation oncology.

North Coast Health Center, located at 477 N. El Camino Real in Encinitas, CA is the largest outpatient health center in coastal North County.  The health center is home to more than 200 doctors and dentists representing more than 50 specialties plus ancillary services such as imaging, outpatient surgery, laboratory and pharmacy.
